I'm sure this would make a fascinating shot if the colour temperature was adjusted. I'm pretty sure these oranges and yellows are just a bit too warm, and that your eyes did not see the scene this way. If you have Photoshop you can add a levels adjustment layer and using the grey eyedropper you can find a neutral point which will help the colour balance enormously.

@Curly: Thanks Curly! I wanted the shot to look this way and I intentionally adjusted the white balance when capturing this shot and that's why it turned out this way...
